My problem is similar to Waynes in that my paternal grandmother was a Blackwell before she married my grandfather. My grandfather was extremely interested in genealogy and was unable to find any common relationship in his family tree and that of his wife. I have also not been able to trace any ancestors of my grandmother other than her father.
Surely, if I was to undergo a DNA testunder either system there would be contamination from the otherfamily?
