Any information on Bluford Blackwell & his parents, Bluford was born 1817 in Tennessee, 1860 Census has him living in District 2, Logan, Kentucky, Married Rachel, 1870 Census has him in Galatia, Saline, Illinois, children Jesse Blackwell born 1857 in Tennessee, Hickman born 1853, Wesley born 1859, Joseph born 1863 & Newton born 1865 Jesse married Lulia, moved to Galatia, IL, children Cecil, Frank & Paul.
Bluford's father Henry Blackwell was born in Virginia - no date. Some of the above moved to Bridgeport, IL in lawrence county.
