I'm hoping some kind person can help me with my quest. I'm looking for:
Sahara (or Sarah?) Ann Blackwell was born 8 May 1825 in Kentucky. She married Benjamin Titsworth 2 February 1841. Ben was born 8 May 1815 in Tennessee. Their daughter, Mary, was born 27 November 1841, followed by John, Benjamin, and Annetta. Their son George Washington Titsworth was born 20 Dec. 1852, and their last child, Nancy, was born in January of 1857. Sahara died 15 August 1857 in Arkansas
Lots of lovely details, but nothing that absolutely tells us from which Blackwell line Sahara descended. It is not even clear whether they were married in Tennesse or in Arkansas or maybe even in Kentucky since the border seems to have been a bit fluid at that time.
I saw that one of the Kentucky Blackwell lines had an older Blackwell named George Washington, just like Sahara's 5th child. It made me wonder if he could have been an ancestor of our Sahara.
Can anyone help me find the ancestors of Sahara?
