Ragland & Daglingworth (Cornish & Devonshire & Gloucestershire) Ancestors!!

In Reply to: Bloet/Bluet ...possible marriage with Beaumont/de Clare c. 1149 by Karen L. Repko of 415

For those who do not know, this ancestry is for the very beginning of the Cornwall and Devonshire Blewett lines as well.

The visitations of Devon and Cornwall, are not correct in stating that William was the Earl of Salisbury, he was only the Lord of Salisbury Manor...which was granted to him by his mother Nesta of Wales. Salisbury Manor was part of Nesta's marriage portion when she married Ralph III in c. 1177.

Cheers,
Karen (Montagu/Baynard/Bluet)
