I am looking for information on John Lawrence Vic Bonney who lived in the Charlottesville area. He is supposed to be from Baltimore MD. His daughter, Virginia Bonney was born in Pavillion II at UVA on Thomas Jefferson's birthday.

John L. Bonney, UVA class of 1899 who was a civil engineer. He founded the Bonney-Floyd Company in Columbus, Ohio early in the twentieth century. It was a steel manufacturing company.
He was the president of the alumni chapter there. Killed himself after suffering from a nervous breakdown "brought
on by financial worries" (from Alumni News, October 1934, p. 20)."
