I am looking for any ancestral information on a Martha Booker, b. abt. 1765 probably in Amelia Co., Va., who married William Gregory in abt. 1783. They then resided in Pittsylvania Co., Va. They had issue however I only know the name of the eldest son, William Gregory Jr. and a second son, possibly John. William Sr. died in 1801 and it is thought Martha remarried. According to a family researcher, Martha was thought to be the near eldest child of a John and Susanna (Pride) Booker who were married in Amelia Co., Va. 02/04/1764. John Booker, her father, was purportedly related to Mary Booker Tarry Craig, the wife of Rev. James Craig. I am currently thinking Martha is a descendant of Richard and Rebecca Leake Booker.
