George Cheever Boorum was supposedly a Civil War veteran, but I cannot find any record of his service under that name.
He is buried in Mount Hebron Cemetery in Montclair, New Jersey.
He was the son of Cornelius and Catherine Boorum and husband of Caroline Irving VanHorne.
Can someone shed some light on his military service?
