I suspect that you are looking for this family: Maurice Beausang, born about 1872 in County Cork, Ireland, married Ellen Tarrant. They lived in Youghal. Maurice died in about 1908. He and Ellen had seven children: William John, Patrick, Mary Ellen, Paul, Amelia, Maurice, and Mathew.

One note: The French Huguenots were Protestants while all of the Irish Beausangs were Catholics.
