Edmond Boutwell

Greetings. I'm new at the forum side of Boutwell research, but not new to the research itself. Mom started in 1985 and bequeathed me four shelf feet of papers. But that's another story.

I'm looking for descendants of Edmond Boutwell, the son of Calvin Boutwell and the brother of William and John. John is my ancestor. There was some rift between the brothers. John and Bill's descendants refused to talk about Ed. In fact, my father (Ovie, John's grandson) always heard about Uncle Bill, but never heard about Uncle Ed. He ran into one of Bill's gransons who said he always heard about Uncle John but never Uncle Ed.

Dad's Aunt Josie refused to talk about her Uncle Ed.

I'd like to know why, and see if it's possible to rebuild a bridge now. It's stupid to carry on a family fued after 100 years! I don't care what happened, we're all family!
