For those interested in a Brainard Gedcom, I have been involved in a futile search for my Brainard ancestor and have in the process worked up a Brainard gedcom that currently has 3390 names. My sources include the works by Field and Abigail Lucy Brainard. They also include the Supplement, the 1990 update, 1850-1870 PA census records, the Ohio death index and numerous internet and commercially available CDRom sources. The limitations are that is is not a complete gedcom (I only have so much time) and that it concentrates on male ancestors except for the given names of Adeline, Alice, Bessie and Violet. I would be glad to share this gedcom as a file attachment to anyone who is willing to share whatever information on Brainards they might have, whatever the format. I have changed the spellings on the variants of Braynard and Brainerd so that I can more easily search for duplicate individuals.
