Hello,
Last year I purchased a 1930 English tudor in Dearborn, MI at 414 S. Highland Street. I became interested in the history of the home, and was able to obtain a chain of title which lists Frank E. Brainard as the original owner of the property, along with "Verlin E. Doonan and wife" (not sure if they were friends, relatives maybe??). I would love to learn more about the Brainard and Doonan families. I fell in love with this house the moment I saw it,and it still has many of the original features. This was definitely a custom built home, and workers I have had here tell me it is such a solid, well built home I could use it as a bomb shelter!I would greatly appreciate any information anyone might have.
