My great-great-grandfather's name was Charles Brainard Platt. His wife's name was Emma Fancher. I suspect that Brainard may be the maiden name of his mother. Does anyone have a Brainard daughter that may have married a Platt? Charles was born abt. 1858, possibly in CT. His children were born in CA. Any ideas are appreciated.
