The only George W. Brainard who remotely fits (taken from the 1908 Brainerd-Brainard Genealogy) is George Washington Brainerd, b. 22 Feb. 1841, Parma, NY, s/o Harris Brainerd (698.James line). There is no further information re. George Washington Brainard. Of course, there are many George Brainard's listed in the genealogy, but I did not search them as it would take days. Also, I found George W. Brainard living at Butte, Silver Bow C., MT in the 1900 Census. He is listed as being born _ Feb. 1856 in NY. The 1900 IN Census lists the following living with Isaac F. Boyden in Madison Co., IN; Jessie, b. Oct. 1880, IL, Pearl, b. Dec. 1882, IN, Georgia, b. July 1890, MT, Zillah, b. Aug. 1892, MT.
