The abovementioned Odan D. Brannon m 22 Feb 1855 in Fabius Twp, Schuyler Co., MO, by Samuel B. Webster, JP, one Mary Anne PRIME b 24 Sep 1835 in Friston, Suffolk, England, and who was baptised 25 Dec 1835 in Friston Parish, Suffolk, England.
Mary Anne had come to America in 1838 with her parents Henry and Hannah CRISP PRIME aboard the ship PHILADELPHIA, landing in New York, May 14, 1838, and arriving in Northeast Missouri June 26, 1838, (more information than one may need here.)
The marriage record simply states that Odan D. BRANNON was 'from Iowa'.
They had an infant daughter, Mary A., b 03 Mar 1867, and who d 08 Jun 1870. She is buried in the PRIME Row in Downing Cemetery, Downing, Schuyler Co., MO. This is all I have, I don't know where the family went later.
Other postings on the GenForum indicate BRANNONs in Farmington, Van Buren Co., IA, but to date I have no corroborating responses from anyone.
