I am researching Permelia OWENS, who married John Byrd BRANNON. I am trying to connect Permelia as a sister to Beverly Basil OWENS, who settled in Arkansas circa 1850. Have you come across this John Byrd BRANNON ?

Permelia OWENS BRANNON died 4-5-1892 in Athens Texas, buried Meredith Campground Cemetary

Children: Beverly Basil Brannan, John Brannan, James
Brannan, David Crawford Brannan, Stamps Brannan.
I have also found following BRANNON family,Married into the TN CHERRY family. My OWENS family also married into the AR CHERRY family.
