Louis Breau was born on October 29, 1859 in Tracadie, New Brunswick. He married Marie Landry (d/o Alexandre and Justine Lanteigne) on June 14, 1880 in Pokemouche, New Brunswick. He died on April 28, 1919 in Tracadie, New Brunswick, at the age of 59 years. Marie was born on December 3, 1856 in Shippagan, New Brunswick. She died on May 13, 1945 in Caraquet, New Brunswick, at the age of 88 years.
Louis Breau and Marie Landry had the following children:
1. André Breau (born on November 30, 1882 in Tracadie, New Brunswick) married Marie Philomène Mallet (d/o Jacques and Romaine Doiron) on October 17, 1906 in Chatham, New Brunswick. He died on August 29, 1962 in Amherst, Nova Scotia.
2. Bernard (called Barney) Breau (born on June 22, 1884 in Tracadie, New Brunswick) married Eugenie Saunier (d/o Joseph and Hélène McLaughlin) on June 18, 1912 in Tracadie, New Brunswick.
3. Marie Jeanne (called Jane) Breau (born on January 24, 1888 in Tracadie, New Brunswick) married Arcade Arsenault (s/o Théodore and Adelaide De Grasse) on April 9, 1907 in Tracadie, New Brunswick.
4. Daniel Breau (born on August 25, 1891 in Tracadie, New Brunswick) was buried on September 11, 1891 in Tracadie, New Brunswick. This information was passed along to me on July 7, 1999 from James Tabaka, husband of Norma Brideau of Tracadie, now deceased, after he checked out the Tracadie Registers. Jim also stated that the Tracadie records indicated deceased "l'avant veille" age of 15 days.
5. Marie Anna (born on August 29, 1893 in Tracadie, New Brunswick). James Tabaka, husband of Norma Brideau of Tracadie, New Brunswick, now deceased, passed along some pertinent information back on July 7, 1999. GODPARENTS were André Brault and Marie Melanie Benoit. This information was located in the Tracadie Registers. Robert Brault (Québec) responded with the following - "Ondoyée" means that she was hastily "baptized" not at church and not by the priest; this was done when people thought that the child was in danger of dying soon. She died later the same day.
I do not know if Louis and Marie had other children aside from my database as shown here. André was my G grandfather and I would like to make contact with persons of this same family line.
