Dear Karen, from the forum I can see that you are very eager to learn more about the BRENDEL's. The Thueringer Husaren are a Military Regiment, I believe that they went to South West Africa (Namibia) to fight in the Herero wars, that was before the first world war.George Brendel's father came from Frost in Germany,George Brendel's regiment was originally stationed in Torgay Germany.Should anybody know of any connection to George Brendel please contact me.
