I went to the Great Lakes National Archives in Chicago and I found some information in the 1920 Census on one Otto A. Brendel who married one Frieda(last name not listed) they resided on Beach Avenue, the address although unclear looks to be 3308. Listed were:
Otto A. Brendel-Age 29-from Germany
Frieda Brendel-Spouse-Age 27-birth place IL
Ruth Brendel-Daughter-Age 6-birth place-MI
There is a son who was listed next his name started with a C-looks like Clarence-Age 31/2-birth place IL.
Doris -Daughter-age 1yr-place of birth IL
and another son who was born in Germany the name was unclear could have been Alvin, Age 10.
