My family current spelling if Brinley or Brinly, depending on what families you are looking at.

There is a story in our family of three brothers that came to America as Indentured servants. We are not sure who they were but THINK they were Jacob, George, Mathias or Henry.

Does any of this sound like the same stories you have heard?

We do not know how our family name was spelled prior to coming to this country but it certainly wasn't Brinley as that is an English spelling.

We have 27 different spellings in the old church records in Pennsylvania, including Brendel, Brendle.

Would sure like to hear from you.

Thanks
Clyde Brinley
