Early Brendles in Lancaster Co., PA ?

It is possible that the maiden name of Elizabeth (1702-1765?), wife of early settler Peter Bricker of Cocalico, Penn., was either Brendle or Brindle? They were both Mennonites, he having been born in the German Palatinate or adjacent Wurtemburg, or possibly even in Alsace (now part of France), and she was very likely from the same village. Although some online family trees say that she was born in Cocalico, there is also the possibility that Peter returned to his village in Europe after the death of his first wife Christina in 1735, then came back again to Cocalico with second wife Elizabeth aboard the ship Augusta in 1737. Does anyone have an information about Elizabeth, or the early history of the Brendle/Brindle family in the Lancaster/Lebanon counties area?

I wonder if she is somehow related to the Brendle who wrote "A Short History of Schaefferstown", as Cocalico and Schaefferstown are not far apart.
