The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, May 21, 1908

A pretty home wedding occurred at the home of MRS. MARY MILLER, Wednesday evening, May 13th, at 4 o'clock, when her daughter MISS EASTER was united in marriage to MR. FRANK BRENNEMAN, of Bovina, Texas. Rev. C.E. Wells, pastor of the Christian Church in Chariton, performed the ceremony. The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white silk and carried pink and white carnations. The groom wore the conventional black. About 40 guests were present to witness the ceremony. A bountiful supper was served after which the guests repaired to their homes. The groom's parents gave them a reception on the following day. They were the recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts at both wedding and reception. This happy couple will be at home at Bovina, Texas, after June 15th. Heartiest congratulations are extended.
