I apologize that it has taken me so long to write back...I only just today opened the email.
The information you sent I had. I have back to Robert Bridger, who married Nancy Moye and was reportedly a "ward" of Shem Tyson. My understanding is that they origionally came from Pitt county? Robert had Joseph who married Lunicey Forbes, who had a Robert....and so on. My grandmother's mother was Martha Jane Bridger who married George Martin. They had Nicey Ozella Martin who married Claude Swindale Chears, and had my grandmother, Martha Louise.
Do you have any information beyond names for the older lines? I would greatly appreciate any help you can give. I am also collecting photos if you would care to share copies...I believe I have one of Nicie Ozella that I could share if you would like.
