Hi Martha, I'm sure someone has done research on the Granville, NC Brightwell families, including Reynolds -- perhaps part of the difficulty you're having finding information on the web is the spelling of the county name -- it's "Granville", not "Grandville". I "googled" the words -- brightwell genealogy granville nc & got a huge list of results (Results 1 - 10 of about 266 for brightwell genealogy granville nc.): http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=brightwell+genealogy+granville+nc&btnG=Google+Search I have some information about them on my website & still have a lot of information on various Brightwell families (various states/counties) which was sent to me that I haven't yet had the time to transcribe or scan & will get that on my website as soon as I can. As far as I can determine, my Brightwell line is only in VA; so obviously that's where I've concentrated my personal research. If more people would put the results of their research online, it would make it much easier for those of us who don't have access to those records. Many records on my website have nothing to do w/ my ancestors or family, but I did take the time to write the information down in case someone ever wrote to me about it. And when I found the rootsweb site & was able to put the information online at no cost, I've been transcribing, scanning & uploading all sorts of goodies whether or not it's related to me. And thank heavens for the many people who have sent their research to me to put on the site ( http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~sassytazzy/contributors.html ) -- I believe that sharing research online is the quickest & easiest way to get leads on one's family. Good luck w/ your research! Susan :) http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~sassytazzy/index.html Notify Administrator about this message?
