So sorry its taken me so so long to reply. Only just realised there were follow ups. My gr.gran came from Tipperary I believe. Not sure where, but know she was living in London aged 5 (soho, westminster). Her father was David Brinsley, mum Mary (nee Gilbee) Married Westminster. I wonder if he was in the Army or Military as he was an accoutrement maker. No idea when he died. I do know though that Mary Ann (my gr.grandmother) spoke with a very broad irish accent, that my mother says was "bog irish" whatever that means. Still, if I can help further. Will read follow ups more frequently.
