Our family descends from Henry de la Brooke c 1220-aft 1257, Somerset, England to Elizabeth Brooke 1448-1525 Cobham, Kent, England. Elizabeth m. Robert Tanfield of Gayton, Northamptonshire. This line descends to the illlustrious Randolphs of Virginia & includes the Lords of Cobham.
