My name is Susan and I'm researching my LENOIR brother-in-law's genealogy (in addition to my own, of course...).

McCurley JONES, my bro-in-law's maternal grandfather, m. a "Jannie BECOAT." Also, McCurley's brother Gennie m. a Lucille somebody! Seems to me therefore that the "Janie BACOT" you refer to, and my brother-in-law's grandma Jannie BECOAT, are likely one and the same person. (Also, you and my brother-in-law are likely related.)

I was pretty excited to see your GenForum posting; hope you're either still at the same email address and/or that you check this BRUMFIELD board periodically so that you see this! (Since your posting in question is dated three years ago?)
