WILHELM LUDWIG BUBECK was born in Rothenberg, Wurttemberg, Germany on April 12, 1830, he died March 18, 1915 in Geneseo, Illinois. Wilhelm came to NYC in 1852. I was able to trace Wilhelm's family in Germany back to the early 1600's. There were 1000's by the name Bubeck/Buobeck/Bubek in the village of Rothenberg; I connected all of these families up until the 1850's. I was able to uncover hundreds of ancestors for this family.If you can trace your Bubeck family to Germany they may very well connect to this family.
Wilhelm had one son by a 1st marriage named Charles Henry; much of this family has been link. By a 2nd marriage to Christina Hahn, Wilhelm had 5 daughters between 1868 and 1880.
