For the past five years, I have been researching the histories of the memorial gifts, including the 18 large stained glass windows,in the Nave of Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, the Cathedral Church of the Episcopal Diocese of West Missouri, located in Kansas City, Missouri. One of our windows is a memorial to Louise Henrietta Walbridge Musson (1839-1910), daughter of George Brush Walbridge (1814-1852) and Wilhelmina Caroline Louise von Colson (1804-1883). George and Wilhelmina also had a son named Charles Eliphalet Walbridge (1842-1913), a Union hero of the American Civil War. Charles had a daughter, which he named for his mother. The daughter was Wilhelmina von Colson Walbridge (b. 1870), who married Wilder Stoddard Buffum (1862-?) on June 24, 1897. I am attempting to find family photographs of Louise Henrietta Walbridge Musson and her husband, Henry Woodley Musson, for the book which will be the end result of my research. Henry Musson died first and all his family lived in Canada, so I believe that any photographs belonging to Henry and Louise Musson went to her Walbridge siblings. If anyone in the Buffum family has any knowledge of this Walbridge family or photographs belonging to it, please let me know. Feel free to contact me directly at RandalJLoy@gmail.com. Thank you so much for your assistance. Sincerely, Randal J. Loy, Historian to the Dean of Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral Direct Line: (816) 452-5055 Notify Administrator about this message?
