Does anyone have an Elizabeth Groot born about 1750 and died 1795 in Robeson Co. NC? My John Buie b. 1750 Bladen Co. NC and d. 27 August 1831 in Copiah Co. MS, married Elizabeth. Some researchers think her maiden name was Groot. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Does anyone know if there were Groot families in the Bladen/Harnett/Robeson area of NC?
