I have a land deed for Rowan Co., NC, 26 Sep 1765 with Levi Pennington selling land to John Frohock. This land is located in now Guilford Co., NC.
The land was adjacent to William Buis land. The witnesses were Will Reed, Thomas Frohock. John Buis verified the signatures.
Can you or anyone tell me if William Buis family actually lived on this land in now Guilford Co., NC? Do you know where they were physically located in 1765?
