Seeking information about the ancestry of John Francis BUISSON, dates unknown, who married Dorothea Jane SMITHERS. They had the following children:
- Leontine Mary Jane BUISSON (b abt 1837)
- Alfred BUISSON (b 1838)
- Ada BUISSON (b abt 1839)
- Irma Ellen BUISSON (b abt 1840)
- Zoe BUISSON (b abt 1843)
- Emile BUISSON (b 1849, d 1850)
- Lucien Sigismund BUISSON (dates unknown)
Lucien married Mary Ellen STOKES in 1871. After the birth of their first child, they emigrated to Queensland, from where at least one of their children (they eventually had six) later moved to NZ.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who recognises any of these names. All those named were born in England (either in London area or Brighton).
