I live in Amarillo,Tx. and am also descended from the Burgetts of Floydad.My grand mother is Laquita Beth Burgett,her father was Lester Carl Burgett and his father is Robert Needhom Burgett. There is a family reunion in Floydad every year on the second complete weekend of July.The musem there does have some information on the Burgetts. I'll see if I can get the address and then I'll post it.
