Well, I don't know if any of my info will help since I just started to trace my grandmothers line(burkett) My granmothers name is Doris Ann Burkett. Her father's name was William Andrew Burkett who was married to Mattie Bell (Jones) Burkett. William's fathers name was John Burkett. So if any of this has to do with your line e-mail me. William was born in 1869 in DeQueen, Siever City, Arkansas.
I live about 20 minutes from A&M University, and my Grandmother was raised about an hour from here. So maybe our families are related somehow.
