interested in finding out about my roots.
my dad, walter painter burrier,jr. b. may 9, 1925 in boston , ma., d. june 12, 2000 in norwich, ct,went to harvard (class of 1950, grew up in brookline, married sylvia fahn of nyc. they had 3 children, myself, b. may 15, 1950; wanda claudette, b. feb.1, 1954; walter III, b. dec.8., 1956.
his father, walter sr. was born in biddeford, maine, married ida mae conlon,(my dad's mom), then later married clara neblett burrier. james baskerville burrier was born (feb. 1940) of the latter union and now resides in charlottesville, virginia (never married and no offspring).
i believe my paternal great grandmother, zona painter burrier, was from the ohio area, and there is a library at worcester college, ohio, named after her family. i'm not sure, but i think my great grandmother was shot to death. my grandfather, walter sr. also had a brother, the late carlton painter of minneapolis (never married, no children). there is also a stella worthington in california, a niece of carlton's, so perhaps walter sr. and carlton had a sister--not sure of this last bit of info. can you help me in terms of finding any family links? i'd apppreciate any knowledge you might have. thanks. corinne
