The parents of George Allen Burtz were Levi Burtz & Hester Hobbs. George 1st appears on the 1860 Cherokee Co, GA census with his parents. He 1st married Indiana Bates May 1880. He married Margaret Merritt 1882. Both marriages are recorded in Cherokee Co, GA - Book E - Pg 505.
