William Busby (c 1842 to c 1910); born Irish Sea; lived England

My great grandfather is recorded in the 1891 and 1901 English census records as having been born abooard ship in the Irish Sea, with a calculated year of birth ~1842.

I have no other information about his origins. I can't find him in England before 1891. He married Harriett about 1888 and had a son James about 1889. Lived in Smethwick, parish of Harborne, England. Date of death deduced as being about 1910 (widow is recorded in 1911 as having been married for 22 years).

Other children included Rose (who I remember from my youth).

Anything to help me trace William back, or locate siblings would be very welcome.
