WHERE WAS JOHN BUSBY/MARGARET PATTERSON IN 1780-1790?

Accordin to Harry E. Rice Book, John was born in County Antrim, Ireland ca 1747 and in 1765 married Margaret Patterson. In January of 1766, soon after the birth of their first child, Elizabeth, they emigrated to VA. With them were his 3 brothers, James, Robert and William. All four of the brothers served in the Revolutionary War in the VA line. James, Robert and William later received pensions.

Did John/Mary settle in Amherst Co VA when they first arrived here or were they living elsewhere before coming to Amherst Co?

Can anyone provide me with info on the 3 brothers...James, Robert and William? I'm looking for a Robert who served VA in the REV WAR but this Robert states in his pension record that he was born in July 1759 in Hanover Co VA. Could he be connected to John Busby in some way? He was in Adair Co KY in 1834 receiving his pension and had a daughter named Mary "Polly" W. P Busby who married a Lewis Harmon in Adair Co in 1826.

Any info would be appreciated
