He would have been 22 in 1951 and twenty-three in 1952 the years of service I am interested in when there was an Air Force base in southern Japan. All the other information I have seems to match. My mother told me he was youngest of about nine children, his father was deceased but mother was alive in 1952. At that time he had no other children but had about 18 nieces and nephews.
Do you know of any other William R. Byars from Mississippi that would match this information?
