In my Cabe files I have your William Cabe, as William M. Cabe b. March 1878 Jackson County, NC, married to Anna E. Blackwell, b. abt 1877 White County, GA.
William Cabe was the son of Andrew Cabe, b. 11/1854 Jackson County, NC, d. 193l, m. Laura Jane Jones b. Dec. 1859.

Andrew Cabe was son of Thomas B. Cabe, b. Dec 1818, Haywood County, NC,(Present day Jackson County, NC) d. July 1874, Jackson County, NC M. Feb 22, 1843 to Parthene Wilson, b. May 13, 1822 Missouri, d. April 1868 Jackson County, NC.

Thomas was son of Amos Cabe b. 1771 Lincoln County, NC, d. June 4, 1855 Jackson County, NC. m. Ester Sharp b. 1789, d. Feb 12, 1844 Jackson County, NC. They are buried in Old Savannah Baptist Church Cemetery.

My ancestor was Stephen, brother of Thomas B. Cabe.
