Brenda, I have found that we might be in the same Cabe family. This is the 2nt time for an email to you. The one on the net kept comming back. My grandmother is Mary Charm Cabe Carswell. Her brother was Arthur and one of the sisters was Reba Smith. I met Clem twice in Cusseta Ga, and Aunt Reba when Alus died in 63. My Dad, Robert G, spoke often of his mother and NC and his childhood. I do not know any thing more about the Cabe side. Hope this helps. I wish I knew more about both sides. Jet
