my name is Catherine
and I was browsing through family tree and came across Cafferky from Pullathomas.
my Grandfather was Hugh cafferky and his wife was Kate Munnelly / my grandfather was married before he met my grandmother to Mary Barrat. ( they had no family)
my grandfather and grandmother moved to Scotland they were both irish granmother from Dahooma (sorry about spelling)grandfather from Pullathomas,Ballina.They had 3 children Mary, Catherine ,Bridget Annie .
my grandfather Hugh had 3 brothers and 3 sisters John,Paddy,Michael,Sabina ,Annie,Bridget.John and Sabina moved to america.
Paddy never married and Bridget died at young age.
I would like to here of any more info.
I am the daughter of Catherine.
Catherine married Thomas Smyth my father and had six children Mary Married James Mulgrew and had 5 children Bridget married John Mc shane and had three kids and moved to australia in 60.s. Catherine Smyth nee cafferky diet october 2006 and Bridget mc shane nee cafferky died aug 2005 Mary Cafferky is stoill living.
my mum was known as Kathleen
