Thanks for the information and telephone number. It seems that we really have a lot of conflicting information out there on William Cahoon and his descendants. I am trying to get back further than my James Calhoun(Cahoon) b 1789, but so far I have run into a brick wall. Circumstantial evidence show that his parents may have come from Kent County, Delaware. I had seen previous information that James Cahoon had married Martha Challoner in 1695, then I find the a lot of researcher have this James married to Mary Cleghorn-Davis with pretty much the same children. Do you have this James Cahoon's descendants going to Delaware?
I have William Cahoon's (1704-1774) will and also another will from a William Cahoon (1734-1795). Both are from Kent County Delaware. William b 1704 is suppose to be a son of James and William b. 1734 is suppose to be the son of William.
