I have only just begun to research the Cann name. My great grandfather, Paul Cann, would never reveal anything about his family to his children - all they ever knew was that he was from Ontario, Canada, that he was born around 1860, emigrated to the United Stated where, in the 1890's, he married and my grandfather was born. Paul died in California in the early 1930's. I believe I have identified him through the 1881 Canada census. I also believe his father was Uriel Cann of Mariposa, Victoria South, Ontario. I would love to be able to share something from this line of Cann heritage with my family. Can anyone help?
