My grandmother was Edith Cannell and lived in Bexleyheath but I believe her family came from Norwich. Family history talks about to brothers nick-named 'The Cocky Cannells' because of their ruddy complexion. I understand that they were quite wealthy farmers. We are looking, I think, at the early 1800's?
If anyone can help get me started in this family line I should be pleased to hear from them.
