Mrs. ALICE CANNON
Funeral services were held at the Graham Church of Christ Tuesday for Mrs. Alice Cannon, well known former resident of the Graham community, who died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. ROSE SCOTT, with whom she was making her home at Hugo, January 6. Rev. J. C. DODSON of the First Baptist Church at Duncan conducted the services with burial in the Graham cemetery, arranged by Bettes Funeral Home. Rev. Dodson is a former pastor of the Fox Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cannon was born at Prospect, Tennessee April 17, 1862 and died January 5, 1946, age of 83. She was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and during her residence in western Carter County, had many friends. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. ROSE SCOTT of Hugo, Mrs. LILLIAN BUNTING of Hughes Springs, Texas, one son, SAM CANNON of Wichita, Kansas; a brother EDGAR MCKINNEY of Saratoga, Arkansas and a number of grandchildren
