Would like to hear from anybody descended from Martha Deborah McCarty m. Thomas William Cannon in MS, moved to area later known as Stuart OK, had a daughter Minnie, et al,sons Earl, Charles, John, et al. Mattie (Martha D. McCarty Cannon)was the daughter of Elizabeth Gentry McCarty (m.Charles McCarty) daughter of Levi and Ruth Gentry. Mattie had a sister named Ruth who m. Cisero Lackey, would like to hear from anyone about them. Elizabeth Gentry and My GrGrGrandmother Martha Gentry McCarty were sisters. Martha's husband Albert McCarty was not kin to Charles McCarty. I have information that you cannot find on Ancestry.com. I also have old letters that were written to my Grandaunts here in Sherman, MS, where Mattie and Gentrys lived at for a long time. I will be glad to share a scan of what was written in the 5 letters. This is a big part of genealogy. The letters are 1909 - 1915.
