Do you have any info on a William Carlyle Cannon?? All I have is that he was my father's father.
Possibly the child of a Nellie Elmer Laha, who later married Richard Rich, and he adopted the boy and changed his name to Rich.
Now, whether this was Nellie's natural born son, or whether she took him in...?Can't find squat on Nellie Laha, other than she might have been from Yprk, Me? Can't find anything on William Carlyle Cannon or Rich, nor who the father was- or if Nellie was, in fact, his birth mother or a possible relative... I am at a stand-still trying to get past this hump. All assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
