Looking for information on Bartlett Cannon (my gggf who moved to Jefferson County from Virginia. He married Jane Cannon, daughter of John Cannon of Sevier Co. Bartlett and Jane later moved to Monroe Co. Bartlett had a son Robert who could have been the father of Bartly R. Cannon (my ggf. Bartly married Sarah Ann Scott in Monroe Co. Bartlett later moved to Hamilton Co., around Chatanooga and then went to Texas. I suspect he (Bartlett) is related to John Cannon and from the same family in Virginia. I believe Bartlett descended from Thomas Cannon who was the first Cannon from Virginia to settle in Jefferson Co.
