Hi Paul
I have since received the marriage cert of Herbert Ernest Edward Smith (my grandfather) and Gertrude Maud Cook dated 16.01.1926: Witnesses: Thomas Cook, Emma Jane Carlyon and Wyndham Davies. I am now wondering if Emma Jane = Amy or was in fact sister ? to John Carlyon.
