I have a John Calvin Carrithers Sr and spouse Sarah Ann Hyatt and their family that I will be please to share their info.John Sr was born Jan 12 1828 in Donegal,Ireland.He came to America on the Ship "The Petrel"with the Parker family.In 1844 he travel to Baltimore,Maryland and onto Alabama,met his wife Sarah A Hyatt and married in 1850.The couple made their home at Riverton,Colbert Co (formerly Franklin Co AL)and borne 9 children.Riverton,Al is in the Northern part of Alabama and close to the Mississippi state line (the city of Iuka,Tishamingo Co,Ms)All the children were born and raised at Riverton,Al:John Sr was a blacksmith and a Baptist Preacher.His wife,Sarah was a school teacher.Any futher info may be obtain by sending me a request by e mail.Thanks MAW.
